I was always a photographer from the young age of six to high
school when I was either in the photography dark room, assisting
in the special needs classes or teaching in the preschool. All
helped develop my love of people and my passion for
photographing them. During an Internship to Walt Disney World I
aided in establishing a new photography system in the parks. The
time spent there changed my perspective on life and
photographing those special moments. After graduating with a degree in Visual Art and Design with an Emphasis in Photography I went on to work for some amazing photographers. Some of my proudest photography moments have been doing the cover art for Anita Stansfield and being a photographer for the non-profit foundation Now I Lay Me Down to Sleep. I made my dream come true by starting my own business Amy Bennion Photography. Specializing in Wedding, Family, Children and Commercial Photography with a stylized mix of traditional to contemporary candid photography. |
